Our Ingredients

To make our organic skincare products, we only source organic and wildcrafted herbs and oils.Natural Mixologist uses NO ALCOHOL and NO FILLERS in any of its products. In place of water or alcohol, a hydrosol is used. A hydrosol is rainwater distilled with herbs, flowers, or plants. Also, organic plants have shown to have 40% more antioxidants than conventional plants. 

All essential oils are absolutely not created equal. Using certified organic essential oils is a necessity for us, because organic essential oils are more potent and powerful medicine that create more results, and they are not contaminated with pesticides or herbicides.

Below is a list of all the ingredients we use and little more information about them.



Aloe Vera - It grows wild in tropical climates around the world and is cultivated for agricultural and medicinal uses. Aloe is also used for decorative purposes and grows successfully indoors as a potted plant. This plant is called the "miracle skin saver" because it helps heal minor wounds eight days faster than standard dressing, not to mention it’s an antibacterial and contains vitamins and minerals that can ease eczema and psoriasis flare-ups. For the hair, Aloe vera is humectant, and it draws moisture from the air and keeps the hair hydrated. 

Calendula Flowers - Bright yellow and orange flowers, historically used for medicinal and culinary purposes, result from easy calendula care when growing this simple flower. Commonly called the pot marigold.One of the best reasons to keep calendula handy is due to its healing abilities. If you apply calendula flower oil to your cuts, scrapes, bruises, and insect bites, you can quickly speed the healing process, partially due to the anti-inflammatory properties of the oil, in addition to the unique antioxidant compounds found in this miraculous plant. By protecting against infections, it keeps wounds and scrapes safe, allowing them to rapidly heal.

Chamomile Flowers - helps to reduce dark circle under eyes, soothes skin irritations, reduces under eye swelling + calms redness. Naturally soothing and anti inflammatory, chamomile flowers are gentle and effective at soothing and de-puffing inflamed skin. 

Comfrey Leaf - Comfrey is a marvelous herb and is one of the best-known healing herbs of all times. Well known and widely used by early Greeks and Romans, its very name, symphytum, from the Greek symphyo means to "make grow together", referring to its traditional use of healing fractures. Comfrey relieves pain and inflammation caused by injuries and degeneration, especially the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. 

Marshmallow Root - Marshmallow root or Althea officinalis is a polycrest herb and is also known as a white mallow herb. It’s an African plant with short roundish leaves and small pale flowers. It’s been around for centuries and even mentioned in Homer’s Iliad written over 2880 years ago! It was used by ancient Greeks, Indians, Egyptians and the Chinese. It has a very slippery texture when made into an infusion, softens the hair naturally. promotes hair growth (due to it’s high content of plant proteins), provides natural shine to dull hair follicles, soothes dry scalp, reduces itchy scalp.

Plantain Leaf - Plantain is one of the most widespread "weeds" in the world, is a first-choice remedy for many skin ailments. It is safe and effective, for not only bee stings, but also for bleeding, cuts, bruises, bug bites, hemorroids, and itchy skin. Its ability to draw out infection - as well as spinters and even glass shards - is especially remarkable. This herb is used as a vulnerary to heal wounds, cuts and scratches. Because it is found in high traffic areas around playgrounds, baseball fields and parks it is easy to grab, crush and use. Since it contains epidermal growth factor, it can be used in place of comfrey to repair damaged tissue, treat bruises.

RoseHip Powder - Comes from the fruit of the wild rose plant, naturally rich in essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6, and 9 that regenerate skin cells and repair damaged tissue. Rosehip is also high in trans-retinoic acid which aids in preventing premature aging. 

Turmeric Powder - Turmeric is amazing for acne! It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that fight pimples and breakouts to provide a youthful glow to your skin. Turmeric face mask not only helps to clear acne scars and inflammation, but also reduces the oil secretion by the sebaceous glands. 


Activated Charcoal  - When applied topically, activated charcoal binds to dirt, oil and toxins, detoxifying the skin.

Bentonite Clay - Bentonite clay is made from volcanic ash, and is harvested mostly in the U.S., France, and Italy. t is know as a healing clay and has some many skin benefits. This clay is made from minerals such as iron, sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium, formed from volcanic ash.

French Green Clay - Mined from bedrock quarries in France, this clay is untreated and 100% natural. It contains silica, aluminum, magnesium, calcium, iron, titanium, phosphorous, sodium, potassium, and montmorillonite. French green clay, known as "argile" in France, is thought to have an amazing ability to absorb toxins and impurities. It has traditionally been used for everything from burns and acne, to sinus infections, indigestions, muscle aches, and even tooth care.  


Chamomile - is known to cure spasms, protect wounds from becoming septic and infected, curb biotic growth and infections, fight depression and uplift mood, cure neuralgic pain by reducing swelling in the effected vessels, and soothe inflammation from fever.

Cedarwood - is known to help cure seborrhoea, heal wounds, fight spasms, cause contractions in the gums, muscles, tissues, skin and blood vessels, while increasing urination and the subsequent removal of toxins, water, salt and fat from the body.

Clove - It is antimicrobial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, and stimulating in nature.

Eucalyptus - It has a number of important qualities, including anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, deodorant, antiseptic, antibacterial, and stimulating.

Geranium Oil - Used by the Egyptians for promoting beautiful and radiant skin, geranium oil is now used to treat acne, reduce inflammation, alleviate anxiety and balance hormones. This sweet-smelling oil can also uplift your mood, lessen fatigue and promote emotional wellness.

Ginger - Because of its toning and antioxidant properties, ginger can reduce the appearance of hypopigmented scars (scars that are white or much lighter than your skin tone). Ginger increases circulation to your scalp, which is essential for stimulating hair growth. The plethora of vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids also strengthen strands and combat hair loss

Lavender - can be calming, sleep inducing, analgesic, disinfectant, antiinflammatory, antiseptic, and antifungal.

Lemon -  is best known for it’s ability to cleanse toxins from any part of the body and is widely used to stimulate lymph drainage, to rejuvenate energy, purify skin and act as a bug repellant.

Lemongrass - It is an analgesic, antidepressant, antimicrobial, antipyretic, antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, diuretic, febrifuge, fungicidal, galactogogue, insecticidal, nervine, sedative, and a tonic.

Neroli - is an antidepressant, aphrodisiac, antiseptic, bactericidal, cordial, carminative, cicatrisant, cytophylactic, disinfectant, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive, emollient, sedative, and a tonic.

Patchouli - is used as an antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, cicatrisant, cytophylactic, deodorant, diuretic, febrifuge, fungicide, insecticide, sedative, and a tonic.

Peppermint - is used as an analgesic, anesthetic, antiseptic, antigalactogogue, antiphlogistic, antispasmodic, astringent, carminative, cephalic, cholagogue, cordial, decongestant, emenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, hepatic, nervine, stimulant, stomachic, sudorific, vasoconstrictor and as a vermifuge.

Rose (Otto)- Roses are widely considered the most beautiful flowers in the world. The flower is an integral part of innumerable stories, legends, myths and legacies. Helps balance moisture levels in the skin, Reduces the appearance of skin imperfections, Promotes an even skin tone and healthy complexion and Emotionally uplifting

Sandalwood - It can be used as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiphlogistic, antispasmodic, astringent, cicatrisant, carminative, diuretic, disinfectant, emollient, expectorant, hypotensive, memory booster, sedative and a tonic substance.

Tea tree - is antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral, fungicide, insecticide, antiseptic, balsamic, cicatrisant, expectorant, stimulant, and sudorific in nature.
